DEA's report No Time for Games: Children’s Health and Climate Change shines the national spotlight on the potential health harms that children especially face from global warming, and calls for swift and decisive action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The report was co-authored by DEA Honorary Secretary, Emeritus Professor David Shearman AM and Dr Sallie Forrest with a foreword from paediatrician, former Australian of the Year and DEA scientific member, Professor Fiona Stanley.
The report comes ahead of the Federal Government’s soon to be released emissions targets for the COP21 global climate change summit in Paris in December this year.
